Wildflowers and Weeds for September
As you read this, new trail bike trails are being cut into the damp mid and lower slopes of Barrm Birrm. This Wildflowers and Weeds, we will shift focus from the high edges of the south of Barrm Birrm and swing up through the northern end, knocking off some sallow wattle as we go, and troubling ourselves with this question: how could monitoring trail bike activity make a difference?

Kangaroo track through Barrm Birrm
Wednesday 17th September, 10-12 am, join Riddells Creek Landcare for a walk into Barrm Birrm with our monthly Wildflowers and Weeds event. Starting from 288 Gap Road this time. There will be our regular crew, but there's room for a couple more to travel along with us.
We will follow the roo tracks, prune a few sallow wattle, marvel at the Golden Wattle and find the first orchids of Spring. Along the way: what kind of monitoring of trail bike activity might make a difference?
If you’re a regular, but find can’t make it, message me. If you’re not a regular, but would like to come for this walk, give me a call.
