NatureShare is a project conceived, designed and implemented by Reilly Beacom and the late Russell Best (both members of Riddells Creek Landcare).
The focus of NatureShare is flora and fauna Victoria-wide.
The project was funded by Riddells Creek Landcare, APS Keilor Plains and DSE's Vision for Werribee Plains project, with the addition of an extraordinary amount of volunteer/in-kind support from people and groups in Riddells Creek, the Macedon Range and across the Keilor-Werribee plains.
NatureShare is a free, web-based tool for you. Whether you post as an individual, as part of a group you can upload sightings, photos & species information, and all information is shared. NatureShare currently includes in its scientific database all the plants and major animals groups known to occur in Victoria (currently over 8,500 species names).
NatureShare - National Park Plant Lists
If you are venturing across Victoria these holidays, you might want to visit some of the parks listed below. Clicking on each link will take you to NatureShare's list of species for that reserve.
Parks are grouped by Catchment Management Authorities to help you orient yourself. Once in a NatureShare collection you can look at its individual map.
