Grasshoppers and Crickets (and Locusts) are insects that make up the Order Orthoptera. There
are over 2,800 species of Cricket and Grasshopper in Australia.

Is it a grasshopper or a cricket? Although there are exceptions, grasshoppers tend to have short
antennae (less than half body length), wheras crickets have longer antennae (over half body length).
