Dragonflies and Damselflies are insects that make up the Order Odonata. What is the difference
between a Dragonfly & Damselfly? In simplistic terms, Dragonflies rest with their wings spread out,
whereas Damselflies rest with their wings close to the body. There are more differences though.
Dragonfly is often used as the general term used for both. In reality, in the Order Odonata
Dragonflies are placed in the Suborder Anisoptera (195 species in Australia), whereas Damselflies
are placed in the Suborder Zygoptera (107 species in Australia).
