here in Riddells Creek).

The following is not a bee or wasp (it is in the Order: Diptera - flies) but could be mistaken for one and,
hence, it is included here.

consists of Bees, Wasps, Sawflies and Ants.

There are about 1,650 species of bees, over 9,950 wasp species, about 3,000 ant species
and 175 species of sawfly in Australia!
