Welcome to Riddells Creek
Beautiful 'Barrm Birrm' rises out of the
flat Volcanic Plains in the foreground

Riddells Creek is 50km NW of Melbourne, where the flat basalt plains meet the foothills & forest of the Macedon Range. Grassland, heathy dry forest, riparian woodland and herb-rich foothill forest give rise to amazing flora & fauna biodiversity and magnificent wildflower displays. It is our goal to conserve and improve our area for this and future generations.

If you are venturing across Victoria these holidays, you might want to visit some of the parks listed below.  Clicking on each link will take you to NatureShare's list of species for that reserve.

Parks are grouped by Catchment Management Authorities to help you orient yourself.  Once in a NatureShare collection you can look at its individual map. (graphics by Colleen Miller, WMCN)
